I went last week to photograph some food for Halo Bar & Bistro. Here are a few of my favorite shots, I do have to say that I found photographing people easier.

At the Lake

A few weekends ago the whole family made it out to the lake for the day, a little documentation of the windy day below. Not too many pictures this time as my niece and I spent a lot of the day in the lake. She got knocked over by a wave, got a little scared, but was brave and got back in and went deeper. Watermelon was the snack of the day as you can see by 2 of the pictures.

The Darrah's are Expecting

My brother Michael and his wife Katie are expecting their second, so on a rather windy day at the lake we took a few photos.

A few weekends ago I had the opportunity to go out to take some engagement photos with my friends Amy and Joel. They're a great couple who are getting married in St. Louis this July.

A Day at the Lake

A Day at the Lake with the whole family, although I'm not in any of the pictures as I was behind the camera the whole day, my husband was out fishing, and Grandma (my mom) hates having her picture taken.
